Gareth is creating the website and other documentation for the project. As part of this work he has recently completed a new documentary film, Harry Bacon, about Henry's work at The Romany Life Centre where the wagon is being restored. The film was shot on Super 8mm film and then hand processed in a darkroom before being digitised by telecine to edit. Sound was recorded seperately on Digital Audio Tape (DAT). This film has been selected for exhibition at The Turner Contemporary Project Space and can be seen at the gallery in Margate from June until September 2009. |
